| The Lindir of the "Elf on a Shelf" universe doesn't have much in common with Tolkien's Lindir (but then: who on this website has!) If you go for Master Erestor's version, Lindir is the lead singer of Middle Earth's most famous Elfling-group, the "Lindon 5". More popular, however, is the Lindir-character created by Zimraphel: Rivendell's oldest Elfling, the last true innocent, who still thinks baby Elflings fall from Mallorn trees and are found under leaves; constantly pestered by Feronil, who is a disgrace to all Elven kind. ;-) Lindir's favourite toy is a "Nana Goose" doll - on that bit, we are still working, but at least you can now kiss Lindir, and before you go all wild, please consider that he is an Elfling of nervous disposition. This is how to do it: Make sure the speakers are on. Move the mouse cursor to the place on Lindir's face where you'd like to kiss him, then click. You can do this as often as you want.
